Season 4 Episode 12 - If the Shoe Fits...

Xena and Gabrielle have to rescue a very young child called Alesia from her evil fairy Gods mother AKA Aphrodite. Aphrodite tried to help Alesia when she ran away from home because she didn't like her new step-mother. But once in Aphrodite's grasp she realised that Aphrodite wasn't that nice either. Xena takes Alesia back to her fathers palace and on the way Gabrielle tells her a story about Tyrella, which is a lot like the story of Cinderella, while Xena has to fight a warlord named Zantar. Xena gets him and ties him up then take him with her. Gabrielle then starts to get dinner while Joxer finishes the story, but as he is so bad at stories Alesia runs off and Xena has to go and find her. Meanwhile Aphrodite is trying to get Alesia back because she misses her, when Xena gets back with Alesia she starts to continue the story which makes Gabrielle mad because she pretend that Gabrielle is the Fairy God Mother in the story and she is only good for cleaning. Gabrielle walks off and Xena gets Alesia back to her father who works out her problems with her step-mother. And with a classic fairy tale ending Gabrielle comes back to Xena realises that they are to close to separate and every one lives happily ever after.
