Season 2 Episode 03 - The Giant Killer

Xena and Gabrielle meet up with Xena's old friend Goliath. Xena soon find out that he is working for a group of horrible warlords and she knows that he is only doing this to avenge the death of his family, and the warlords know where the killer is. Xena ends up working with a near by village to stop Goliath, who is helping the warlords that keep looting their village. Whilst there Gabrielle meets a young man named David and she finds out that he is a great poet, and that he is betrothed. When Goliath and the warlords kill the previous savour of the village David decides that in the upcoming attack he will kill Goliath. Xena helps him to find the best strategy even though Goliath used to be her friend she had to do what was right. When the big fight came David, with his trusty sling, killed Goliath and saved his village for the evil army.
