Season 1 Episode 03 - Dreamworker

Xena and Gabrielle travel to a village to get some supplies. Whilst shopping Gabrielle gets kidnapped by a man named Manus. In a desperate struggle to try and find out where Gabrielle has gone Xena talks to one of the villages she saw earlier. Xena soon finds out that Gabrielle has been taken to the temple of Morpheus, god of dreams in order to do three challenges. Gabrielle has been told that is she survives she will become the bride of Mopheus, but Xena also knows that if Gabrielle kills anyone she will be sacrificed to Mopheus. The only way the mighty Princess can save Gabrielle is if she goes through a dreamscape.

In the dreamscape Xena's past catches up with her and she learns a lot about her dark side and the person she really if deep down, then she has to conquer it. The challenge is hard but Xena manages to get to Gabrielle just in time and save the day.
