When Osiris grabs Daniel he manages to inject her with the Reol drug so she doesn't recognize him. At the council meeting she reveals she is working for Anubis, a Goa'uld who has been reported dead a thousand years, and Daniel's reluctance to unreveal the poison is well-founded - the power vacuum from the death of the major System Lords would let Anubis take power.

Meanwhile, on Ravenna the SG-1 team tries to get more crystals to form a tunnel out of the base as the Jaffa close in. Elliott, with the Tok'ra symbiote Lashar in him, tries to cope and lets Lashar admit his love for Sam, while Ba'al continues the bombardment. Teal'c and Jack use the Tok'ra crystals to create a tunnel to get to Sam and Elliott and then escape the base. With Elliott/Lashar's guidance they get to surface and try convert a sensor into a transmitter to call for Jacob and Daniel.

Osiris, acting as Anubis' representative bargains with Yu and the others to accept her master, Anubis, in return for his destroying Earth, bypassing the Asgard treaty. They agree, while Daniel discovers a vat of live symbiotes that the Goa'uld consume. Daniel is concerned that they are letting their human servants witness everything because they will place the leftover symbiotes in the servants, and expresses his worries to Ba'al's servant. Osiris reveals that Anubis plans to eliminate the Tok'ra once and for all, and that Ba'al is bombarding Ravenna. Alerted to the danger, Daniel lures Osiris into a cargo ship while Ba'al's servant alerts Yu, who attacks Daniel. Osiris wounds Yu and tries to kill Daniel - the three of them struggle and Daniel manages to escape by himself in an escape pod. Jacob picks him up and they head for Ravanna to rescue the team. They slip past Ba'al and SG-1 contacts them - the ship crashes upon landing. The only way they can escape is through the secured Stargate. Elliott/Lashar volunteers to stay behind with the symbiote poison and unleash it as they go through the Gate. Sam and Lashar have a final goodbye before they head for the Gate and the Jaffa squads close in on Elliott/Lashar.
